100% Canadian grass-fed tallow wax.
A traditional candlemaking material, thoughtfully reimagined. Our wax gives an existing animal by-product new purpose and contains no soy, paraffin or petroleum-based waxes.
Thoughtfully chosen fragrance.
We use premium phthalate- and paraben-free fragrance oils, with essential oils incorporated into selected blends — from juicy fruit to comforting spice. Prefer no added fragrance? Meet Bare.
Lead- and zinc-free cotton wicks.
Our German-made wicks pair cotton with finely woven paper fibres, without lead or zinc. We purchase them through a Canadian supplier — keeping Canadian businesses part of every candle we pour.
Hand-poured to order in Toronto.
We make your candle for your order, with care for the materials, the pour and the finished piece.

Every child deserves to feel safe.
There is nothing in the world like a mother’s love. From the first glimpse of those tiny hands and feet, the curl of little fingers around your own, and that moment when your eyes meet, everything changes.
You hold a whole life in your arms, already imagining their first steps, the sound of their laughter, and all the years you hope to share. You want to keep them safe. To let them grow. To be there as they discover who they will become.
As a mother of two boys, that love is woven into Lije — a name that means “child” in Amharic.
In Gaza, over 20,000 children have been denied the chance to grow up. Each one a precious life, with a future someone imagined with just as much love.
I cannot hold my own children close without thinking of the mothers who long to do the same. It is from that place of love that Lije gives a small portion of every candle sold to help babies and children facing genocide in Gaza.
